Checklist of Usefull Information

1) Four copies of the investment project proposal, in English or Portuguese, one of which with original documents or documents authenticated by a Mozambican Notary.

2) Authenticated copies of the Identification Document or Passport/DIRE of the investors.

3) Documents evidencing the legal existence of the investing company (Articles of Incorporation, Commercial Registry Certificate)

4) Taxpayer Identification Number (NUIT) in the fiscal area where the Project is located

5) Acquittance certificate showing the fiscal and social security situation (If applicable)

6) Banking references or assurance of Project funding.

7) Financial statements of the last three years of each company which proposes the Project (If applicable)

8) Topographical design/Draft of Project location.

9) Deed of the Land Use and Benefit Right (DUAT) or lease contract of the premises.

10) Registration of the investment Project at the Central Bank (Banco de Mocambique);

11) Other Licenses (industrial/commercial or tourism)

Investment stage

For a production processing enterprise who will invest in SEZ：

To start your business in the Manga-mungassa SEZ you would have to acquire a serviced plot and erect a building. This can be achieved by entering into a contract to secure a serviced plot concession and then erecting a building

Land

· Within the Free Zone, serviced plot is 11,00 USD/m²。

·  Monthly Management and Maintenance fee of 0,15 USD/m²/month in the Free Zone。Favourable monthly management and maintenance agreements to be negotiated In the first year of operation, the Management and Maintenance fee is calculated on only 50% of the total land area. At the beginning of the second year, the full amount is payable irrespective of the amount of land being utilized for your business.

About building or warehouse

· Owner- builder

You can supply and erect your own building if you wish (it must conform to Mozambican building codes) or you can engage a building contractor to erect the building for you. Manga-mungassa SEZ management can put you in touch with a company that is licensed and familiar with Mozambican building procedures and requirements and are currently constructing warehouse/factory buildings in Manga-mungassa SEZ

· Rental

Service provider can rent the existing warehouse or space for stockpiling. The warehouse is 2500M2 and serviced with water, electricity and road, the price of renting is 4 USD/ M2/month. The price of space of stockpiling is 2 USD/ M2/month
